This image is a digital abstract based on a series of photographs of a pottery plate made by my amazing wife, Peggy. I have been photographing Peggy's pottery for several years. One plate in particular caught my eye, so I decided to see what would happen if I composited and masked five different shots of the one plate. The result is "Fusion 1", the first of a number of digital abstracts based on this technique.
